1. Overview
— The elevation of land for industrial uses: 3.50-3.80
meters.
— Water level: The level of TEDA’s groundwater varies
according to different seasons. The underground water is
0.60-0.80 meters deep.
— Freezing depth: The freezing depth is 0.50 -0.60
meters deep.
— Load bearing of foundation soil: The standard value of
the foundation soil load bearing is 5.5-8 tons per
square meter. The exact value of a specific location
should be based on actual survey.
2. Sea tide

occurs every 50 years at Bohai Sea Bay is of 4.7 meters
in elevation and the highest sea tide which occurs every
100 years is of 5.18 meters in elevation.
3. Anti-seismic
TEDA sits in an area designated by the state as having a
seismic intensity of 7. All constructions, buildings and
engineering projects are designed in accordance with
that seismic intensity.
4. Conditions for industrial land usage
The land for industrial uses in TEDA has been leveled
and made suitable for water supply, rainwater drainage,
power supply, gas supply, heat supply, communications,
satellite TV, Internet, etc.
