A Temple in the Morning Twilight (Dulesi)

At dawn, the Dule Temple is immersed in the splendor of the rising sun and rosy clouds. Sunrays cascade down from the head of Guanyin (Mother Buddha), casting over the temple a spell that will make your heart stay.

The Dule Temple, magnificent and rationally laid out, is an ancient architectural masterpiece. It also houses one of the most magnificent colored sculptures. In 1961, it was designated as a protected historical relic.

The Dule Temple is located within the boundaries of Jixian County. It comprises the Hall of Guanyin (Mother Buddha), an east wing and a west wing. Its Hall of Guanyin (Mother Buddha) is the earliest storied architectural structure of wood well preserved. Its sculpture of Guanyin (Mother Buddha) is one of the biggest ancient earth sculptures well preserved.
